Cleveland Early College High School is one of five public high schools in Cleveland County, NC. Located on the campus of Cleveland Community College, CECHS is also part of the NC Cooperative Innovative High Schools program. The school was founded in 2008 to give students from all over Cleveland County the opportunity to receive both high school and college credits simultaneously. Our classes are small by design, with each cohort ranging from 55 to 65 students. This generates close relationships for students between both their peers and faculty. Students who attend CECHS typically graduate in four years with their high school diploma, along with an Associates of Arts or Associate of Science. Students may also receive certifications in welding, criminal justice, computer networking, and others.
